I am not just a creative person with tons of stories and ideas, but I am also a construction professional. Having been in the construction industry since I was 15, I chose to pursue a B.S. in Construction Management at the University of Florida. I began as a locksmith which I did for 3 summers, worked as a forklift operator in a lumber yard for around one year, and have had 2 construction internships. An integral part of these jobs and my curriculum is reading construction plans, understanding building materials and the way they interact with each other, and designing and having a deep understanding of software like Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and much more.
This was a custom building designed in Revit for one of my classes in the Spring of 2026
I am the Habitat for Humanity Student Ambassador at the University of Florida and enjoy spending my time volunteering with them. These are some drawings I made in AutoCAD of a house that we ended up building. The house was built by trade students at Santa Fe Community College located in Gainesville Florida.
